Sidra

Terms of service

Version 2026-09-17

This is a working draft for Sidra's beta. It hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer yet. What it says about how Sidra works and what it keeps is accurate to the app as it runs today; the sections marked "not written yet" will be added before Sidra is offered to the public.

By creating an account, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Sidra.

1. You have to be 18 or over

Sidra is only for people aged 18 and over. Your birth date is checked before an account is made, and an account given a birth date under 18 is removed. Please give your real birth date and time — every reading is calculated from them.

2. What Sidra is, and isn't

Sidra is an AI-assisted astrology tool. It writes briefings from astronomical calculations applied to the birth details you give it, interpreted through astrological tradition.

Nothing Sidra writes is:

Sidra isn't a substitute for a doctor, lawyer, financial adviser, therapist or any other qualified professional. What it writes is for entertainment, reflection and information. The decisions you make in your life are your own.

Sidra doesn't present itself as a licensed professional of any kind, and nothing it writes should be relied on as if it were.

3. It's written by AI

Sidra's briefings and replies are written with artificial intelligence and checked against your chart before you see them. Sidra is an AI briefing system — not a person and not a licensed practitioner. It tells you so when a conversation starts, and again every 3 hours if you keep talking.

4. Safety

Every message you send is read by a safety screen before Sidra replies, on every plan. If it finds signs you may be in trouble, you're given crisis resources straight away. If it finds a stated intention to seriously harm another person, the conversation stops, your account is locked, and a person reviews it. The full description is on what happens in a crisis. By using Sidra you acknowledge that this screening happens.

5. This is a test version

Sidra is in beta. Things may break, a reading may not load, and features and plans may change or be removed while it's being tested. Please use "Report this" under anything that's wrong or upsetting.

6. Plans and payment

During the beta nothing is charged, and Sidra doesn't ask for or take a card. Any plan you choose while testing is free.

Billing, renewal, cancellation and refund terms: not written yet. They'll be here, and you'll be asked to accept them, before any paid plan opens.

7. Sidra's content

Sidra's interpretive content, voice, structure and software may not be copied, scraped or reproduced without permission.

8. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. What that deletes is described in the privacy policy.

An account is locked if the safety screen finds a stated intention to seriously harm another person. Only a person can unlock it.

Other grounds for closing an account: not written yet.

10. Questions

There's no support address yet. Questions about these terms go through the feedback form, which a person reads.
